Juice Fast Day

Hi Dominique! For Wednesday, does the green smoothie (or other fruit smoothie) count as juice (if almonds and protein powder are removed)?

  1. Start your day with the green smoothie and keep the almonds and the protein powder in. This will keep the hunger at bay for many hours and everything is ground so it counts.

    As I said this is a gentle introduction to a detox not a complete one. A lot of people would have a very hard time fasting without the smoothie so we keep.

    You should not be hungry during the day, but around dinner time, you will want to chew on something. At that point, eat a fresh fruit, particularly pine apple because it is good for you and very juice. Just make sure you chew it to a paste.
